Get Married in Provincetown

GETTING MARRIED IN PROVINCETOWN,

CAPE COD & BEYOND

Provincetown is the most diverse place you'll ever find and has so much to offer.  It's the perfect place to get married and to spend your honeymoon! There are lots of wonderful guesthouses, art galleries, fantastic restaurants, bike & walking trails, and beautiful beaches.

There are many incredible outdoor spaces to have your marriage ceremony, like the National Seashore beaches, beautiful town-owned gardens, or the historic Pilgrims First Landing Park by the breakwater.

Consider getting married on the beach or in the dunes of the National Seashore with  Art's Dune Tours.  After your special ceremony,  enjoy  a clambake with a bonfire.

Want to get married on the water?  Enjoy your special day on one of our historic sailboats, or take a boat ride to Long Point, the tip of Cape Cod.   The Provincetown Inn also offers a wonderful beach side venue for your ceremony.  Whatever your desires are, Vernon will help you realize your dreams.

My service area includes all of Cape Cod and beyond.  Couples who wish to be married in Massachusetts must  have a marriage license issued within the Commonwealth of Massachusetts at any town/city clerk's office.    All you will need for identification is an ID with your birth date on it, such as a driver's license or birth certificate.    To get married in Provincetown, you can apply for a marriage license at the Provincetown town hall anytime between 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday thru Thursday, and Friday’s from 8 a.m. to Noon.

Once you apply for a marriage license there is a 3 day waiting period.   If you don't want to wait 3 days, you can obtain a same day waiver locally from the Orleans or Barnstable court house.

I will write a personal service for you and you do not have worry about anything. It can be just you and your partner or as many as you want.  All I will need from you is to confirm the following information, and if I have not already done so, include your middle names.

Vernon will contact you to discuss your special day in detail.  He prefers to meet with you both prior to your wedding just to go over a few things.  This is absolutely not necessary, but it would be nice to get to meet you before the wedding.

He will write a personal service for you and you do not have worry about anything. It can be just you and your partner or as many as you want.  You don't have to worry about anything. He will assist you with vendors, florists, caterers and anything else you want for your special day.

Let Vernon be the one to make your special day a most memorable one.
